Terms and Conditions for Flora Direct

By accessing or using our online flower delivery services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all products and services provided by Flora Direct through our website.

1.2 Flora Direct reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website.

2. Orders and Payments

2.1 All orders must be placed through our website. By placing an order, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and complete.

2.2 Payment must be made at the time of placing the order. We accept cash, E-transfer and in special situations online card payments..

2.3 Prices are listed in CAD and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges will be added at checkout.

3. Delivery Policy

3.1 Flora Direct offers delivery services to designated areas only. Availability and delivery times depend on the location.

3.2 We strive to deliver within the selected time frame but cannot guarantee exact timing due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, traffic).

3.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to provide accurate delivery details. Flora Direct will not be held responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete information.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

4.1 Orders can be canceled up to  24 hours before the scheduled delivery. Cancellations after this period are non-refundable.

4.2 Refunds will only be issued for:

• Damaged products (with proof of damage provided within 24 hours of delivery).

• Orders not delivered due to Flora Direct’s fault.

4.3 Refund requests should be submitted via email.

5. Substitutions

5.1 Due to seasonal and availability constraints, Flora Direct may substitute flowers or products of equal or higher value while maintaining the original aesthetic of the arrangement.

5.2 Customers will be notified of significant substitutions before delivery whenever possible.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1 The customer is responsible for ensuring someone is available to accept the delivery at the specified address and time. If no one is available, the order may be left at the door (if deemed safe) or returned to the shop, and additional fees may apply for re-delivery.

6.2 Customers must notify Flora Direct of any allergies or specific requirements at the time of placing the order.

7. Privacy and Security

7.1 Flora Direct is committed to protecting your privacy. Personal information collected is used solely for processing orders and will not be shared with third parties, except as required by law.

7.2 All payment information is encrypted and securely processed through trusted payment gateways.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Flora Direct is not liable for:

• Delays or failures caused by events outside our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes).

• Minor variations in flower color, size, or arrangement.

8.2 Our total liability is limited to the value of the order in question.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 All content on the Flora Direct website, including images, text, and logos, is the property of Flora Direct and is protected by intellectual property laws. Reproduction or unauthorized use is prohibited.

10. Governing Law

10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario. Any disputes arising shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario
